Honda Civic Si Clutch install (8th gen, 2006-2011)
Good morning ladies and gents. Installing a clutch is no small thing that requires a lot of tedious work. For example, you need to deal with mechanical parts, electrical wiring, drilling, etc. So be prepared to get your hands dirty! First off, you will need several tools. Jack, jack stands, sockets, rachets, extensions, impact gun to name a few. To begin, disconnect and remove the battery. After the battery has been removed, start disassembling the air intake, this needs to be removed as well. Once the intake has been removed, you can move on to the shift linkage. PSA There are a lot of bolts. I would highly reccomend getting zip locks and labeling EVERYTHING. Once you have the shift linkage removed, removed the plug next to it. There also is a small grey plug on top of the transmission bell housing, remove this as well. Next, remove the bolts that hold the slave master cylinder and disconnect the slave master cylinder.
